Think about it! If you were driving down the road and piled into a ten foot tall drift...you'd know it. Right?
"But what about real life"?
"Do you know your stuck in a drift spinning your wheels"?
I can safely say that looking back on my life the times I was lost without direction and found myself spinning my wheels could have been greatly improved if who I associated with would have changed. That's not to say they were bad people...clearly they weren't (not all of them). However had I simply noticed what they wanted to do with their lives could have greatly changed how long it took me to get to a place in mine where I recognized the need for a change.
Now this could be used with anyone, however let's think as it relates to Rodeo or Bull Riding or Competition.
"Who are you surrounded by"?
Positive, Passionate, Motivated people?
Or
"I'm trying" kind of people waiting for someone to do something for them?
Who are you haulin' down the road with? Wonder why you might not be winning? Perhaps it's time to go out on a limb and mix up the pace. Bottom line, life and rodeo can get bogged down with negative thoughts and it will most definitely have an impact on your performance. If your not surrounded by Positive, Passionate, Motivated People you will constantly be fighting an uphill battle.
Sometimes it is better to haul alone (rodeo or in life), then to be forced to listen to "ya, right...like your gonna win" kind of mindsets.
The only person that can do it is you....remember that!
How do you recognize you are stuck in a drift????
