We had a great Memorial Day weekend here in Iowa. Amazingly enough the weather man was wrong once again. They had claimed rain all weekend, however it was spotty at best.
On Sunday we headed down to Lamoni, Iowa for the NABA Bull riding event produced by T & C Rodeo Company. We set up our Mobile Unit and met some new friends from all over the place. One thing I can say forsure is the guys hauling with the NABA sure are loyal. I doubt if there was even 8 guys (out of 40)from Iowa. The rest made a serious haul to get here.
Nathan had a great afternoon/evening. Well almost!
Put on a nice ride in the long-go and they took 8 back to the short-round. Although the short-go bull he drew was oh'so weak having a bad trip...he ended up getting hung in the flank when he came off.
Rather exciting for a moment or two. Fortunately (it wasn't me) and things worked out, however he wasn't able to take his re-ride like he would have wanted.
Things worked out for the best, he ended up taking 2nd place right after Ronnie Kitchens.
See ya in Charles City on Saturday.
Spur' It Up!

Congrats to Nathan. Always nice to finish up in the top of the rankings. Hope he is okay from the hang up. They are so awful. I am really hoping the Enterprise up here this weekend isn't too bad for wrecks.
