You have got to check this out. Honestly I'm too busy laughing to type. Perhaps after a few days to digest the "reality" of this, I'll make my full comments.
In the meantime jump over to TV Envy - Television Blogged to find out more about Ty Murray's latest gig.
I have tears running down my face I am laughing so hard. I may have to watch that. Just for the hysterical factor of a bunch of people who have probably never seen a cow, much less a bull, or taking it a step farther, a bucking bull. You think they'll go 'whats that smell'? I wonder if they will make them get on some top quality bulls, as with Ty Murray 'tutoring' them, it only seems right that they experience the whole thing. I think my ribs might have melted from laughing so hard. Oh the fun we could have with this!

They will be competing at a PBR event in Nashville...oh' lord help us all...."Ice, Ice Baby"...that's what they will all be needing.

Well now. That raises another batch of questions. How in the heck are they going to arrange that one? Stick them at intermission? And are they going to bump spots for guys who this is actually how they make their living? Ty may not be overly popular for a while after this one.

And I really think I would like to be at that event. Though ice may not be all they'll need. The polar ice caps might shrink a bit more just supplying them for their bumps and bruises.

Gee, why am I not shocked... oh... wait... maybe because these guys have no real training or experience? I mean, the guys at the Enterprise event I went to this weekend were getting slammed bad. And they are professionals. What happens when you mix city slicks with bulls? Besides mayhem and disaster?

Matt,
You ought to set something up like this in Des Moines. I think Rush Nigut and Adam Steen mentioned they would be wildly interested in such a proposition.

Odd that you should bring it up! We are actually in the planning process of getting Adam on his first one. Was not aware that rush might have an interest.
I did hear a rumor that Doug Mitchell might just take a shot at it....I know he agreed to do some cooking for us when it does happen.
I'll keep you abreast on the developments. Presently looking like Webster City - June 29th we'll have to bid farewell to our friend Mr Steen when he climbs on RANK1.

Matt:
For the record there is no possible way you could convince me to participate. But if Adam's riding I'll be there.
